Coveo Enterprise Search 6.0 takes corporate search to the next level – allowing for faster processing with less hardware, so you can easily track valuable information assets. We have improved the connectivity to all information silos and have added the ability to access a number of repositories, such as Salesforce.com, wikis and Quest Archive Manager. Since data never resides in a single place, our revolutionary search capabilities brings together information from all the data stored across your enterprise and presents it in a single unified view. With even more sorting functions, our faceted search will allow you to quickly slice and dice your data until you find exactly what you need.

Unified View

Create as many unified interfaces as required with a few clicks, providing users with a tabbed search interface for optimized access to different types of sources. Out-of-the-box unified access to emails, CRM, people, intranet and more.

Reduce costs by providing a single point-of-access to corporate knowledge, thus reducing training costs, information structuring efforts and data moving. Aggregate information dispersed over the network, allowing reuse of work and increased productivity. Easily share information across teams and projects by providing a single point of access to all information.

Improved scalability

Coveo Enterprise Search can manage 50 million documents per server (from 20 million). It also features faster queries, 64-bit support (allowing more RAM and cache usage) and smaller indexes.

The solution requires less hardware to index as much content as other vendors, which means a simpler configuration and a total cost of ownership that is significantly lower than competitors while offering better functionalities

Improved connectors

Symantec Enterprise Vault: Improved workflow; new configuration parameters; user impersonation.

Salesforce.com: Live indexing; pause/resume function; improved field mapping and security; new out-of-the-box UI; dashboard view of the sales pipeline; through the drop-down menu, users can trigger actions directly from the search results, such as accessing all the contacts, opportunities and emails related to an account; users can now search for Support Cases and CRM Contacts.

Microsoft Exchange: Improved performance; added calendar; contact indexing; MS Outlook plug-in; uses Microsoft Exchange 2007 Web Services communication layer.

Lotus Notes: Improved performance; automatic and manual security and field mapping tool; better integration into email search UI.

New connectors

Added Mobility

Additional search interfaces for SharePoint and Salesforce.com; additional facets and filtering; plug-in for Windows Mobile and Blackberry, with email reply and forward on the Blackberry MIDlet Mobile Quick view for access to documents with reduced bandwidth costs; conversation tracking and People Search.
